Al Yemen al saeed: Arabia Felix? اليمن السعيد

Arabia Felix moves us to think about Yemen. It points to the happiness of people in former times and in the years ahead. Today, Yemen is caught up in a devastating war the UN has described as the “worst humanitarian crisis of our time.” Yemen’s great natural beauty, timeless culture, and deeply moving contemporary art are in danger of being lost in this “forgotten war.” As human rights students, we can’t accept “forgetting” a war. Instead, we call upon the public to remember Yemen and act together—well beyond the boundaries of the exhibition.
