The diploma exhibition addresses the pictorial principle of blurring to visualize memory. Recollections become inner images. As time goes by, it becomes increasingly difficult to assign a specific point in time to events and experiences. Everything is a blur. A grid and tracing paper overlay the images, dividing each one into squares. The grid corresponds to the screen of a medium-format camera. The images are blurred, just as the past seems unclear and can only be accessed by way of association.
