The exhibition brings together works by three graduates of the department of Site-Specific Art. Andreas Budak’s sculpture “Case 9” is the product of a laborious process of extracting one gram of iron from 60 packages of breakfast cereals, thereby rendering dubious food industry methods visible. In the installation “The Cherry Blossoms,” Pooneh Mojtaba gives poetic form to the experience of loss. Raphael Reichl’s film montage “Walking on Sandy Eggshells” reflects on the parallelism of contrasting working environments in Mexico and their connection to the globalized world.
