Diplomausstellung Ortsbezogene Kunst

The diploma works of two of the department’s graduates are on display in the second-floor seminar room. Benjamin Nelson presents “Some Kind of Garden,” a series of small-scale watercolors in conjunction with a sound installation. The paintings and sounds reference both inner and real-world landscapes, and enter into a new communion that gives rise to a kind of abstracted, reduced garden. Christian Christiansen’s sound installation “My Family had a Dog when I was a Child” creates space for a speculative narrative about memories, the forest of his childhood, and the ghosts from the past and those in nature.
