“Faux Legs” simulates a tranquil, timeless private space that drifts between the monotony of being and the existential needs of everyday life. The household becomes a reflection on a private happiness enacted as a window to the outside. Its role is to counteract a lethargic inability to relive the everlasting moment of a Sunday afternoon. The visitor’s body is slowly wrapped in cotton wool—floating within the mental confines of isolated objects, memories, and thoughts.
