Panel–Sonic Sensibility

This panel investigates sound in its material and relational qualities as well as social and political dimensions. We’ve invited sound researchers working with sound visually and reflectively. How can situated listening and acoustic thinking influence action, how does a feminist practice affect the composing process? What constitutes sound in its material substance, and how can sound change the human perception of space, time, and movement?
