Produktive Unterbrechung (I)

In the exhibition “Productive Interruption,” aesthetic practice is regarded as a form of knowledge that not only describes and/or visualizes reality, but also shapes it. It’s about an ongoing process of weighing thematic questions and problems, of a simultaneity of possibilities; [. . .] it’s about contradiction and the contrast between particular forms of manifestation and the systems underlying them—and ultimately, a productive interruption of it all.
