Over the past two years, city dwellers have yearned for open spaces to move and be moved. Due to limited opportunities, the perception of open public spaces in dense urban areas has changed fundamentally. Yet urban qualities don’t merely evolve around possibilities to eat, drink, and shop, but through intangible qualities transmitted by other people, plants, animals, sensory experiences, narratives, invisible systems, routines and rituals, rhythms, anchor points, history(s), and, of course, prospects for a conceivable future.
