Substructure

This one-day exhibition on Tuesday June 30 presents recent works by students of the Sculpture and Space and Site-Specific Art departments in and around the university building at Paulusplatz. For one semester, in the course of the same name, we dedicated ourselves to the content underlying each artwork and its translation into form and material. Much as the so-called substructure in architecture provides a building with a solid foundation, a thematic examination creates the sculpture’s basis. (Eva Engelbert)
