Visual Soundscapes

The Video Studio offers students artistic seminars for 2D animation and short film. This year’s screening shows a selection of film miniatures from recent years created in courses offered by Andreas Braito. Individual acoustic perceptions are isolated from the background noise of everyday life and thus brought into audible awareness. These sound traces are placed in an oddly tense relationship to the native images or counterpointed with other sequences. The aim is to capture the magic of a place.
