Vienna's wood waste is currently chipped and used for compost production. The project Stadtholz proposes an alternative utilization of timber coming from felled city trees. Urban wood could supply local craftspeople and serve common interests by supporting social and educational institutions. But who decides on this common property? The talk will address questions about potential uses and users, ownership and methods of distribution and mediation.
