DER BLAUE RITTER UND DIE ROTE SONNE

This exhibition brings together the contrasting and mutually reinforcing visual worlds of Marcus Wagner and Livia Avianus. Exhibited together, their paintings create a tension between line and form and abstraction and representation. Two sensibilities converge to create an engaging aesthetic experience. The wall in the open printers area of the Ferstel Wing, which is part of the Angewandte Festival, is meant as an excerpt of the parallel running exhibition in the new offspace “A Place To Stay” at Landstraßer Hauptstraße 72/2/28.
