Out Of Place

The work “Out Of Place” visually processes the themes of transgenerational trauma and diaspora. Using archival imagery, photographic stagings and documentation, the concepts of home and uprootedness, which are in constant dialogue between the protagonists and culturally identity-forming symbols, are presented. Texts by literary theorist Edward Said and personal experiences form the basis for this.
