Our built environment consists largely of standardized architectural elements designed by engineers or designers. The id1 has examined these building elements with regard to climate change. What utopias of sustainable living could we imagine if we were to design our built environment from scratch? For this first connecting project of the two institutions, the MAK opens the connecting gate from the courtyard of the Angewandte to the MAK garden. After the event, the museum will be open to students from 4 to 6 p.m. from the garden. For the exhibitions of MAK please see: www.mak.at
