The Biolab is a space for artistic biodesign research, installed for the ROOTARCH research project (INTRA 2024). A set of plant growth experiments adds to the biological knowledge as a base for co-designing living architecture proposals and design concepts. Digital simulation and 3D printing methods are applied to explore design opportunities in customized and adaptable designs and processes.
