Under the annual topic IMAGE+SOUND, the students explored sound as a source of image production, examining its potential in relation to (moving) images. Sound – composed, technological, biological, imagined – becomes a vessel for emotion/ information/ experiment/ enhancement, as well as a trigger for visual imagination. The exhibition recreates the conditions of production in the studio, simultaneously referencing the editing room and acting as display.
