The radio play Kunstpause takes place 11.000 metres below sea level on a submarine. The submarine is something like an open-plan office where something like insurance is sold. Insurance: a bet on what will go well. In a system that, by design rather than by default, pushes forward the fiction of functionality instead of addressing people's needs. There, on the submarine, pardon, open-plan office, an employee decides to stop working and insists that this is an artistic pause. Around the submarine are the kraken, knocking, drifting, hoping. And the only ones still asking the right questions: Why are lives worth different amounts? Library opening hours: Wed, 25 June, Thu, 26 June, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. + Fri, 27 June, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
