Kunstpause

The radio play Kunstpause takes place 11.000 metres below sea level on a submarine. The submarine is something like an open-plan office where something like insurance is sold. Insurance: a bet on what will go well. In a system that, by design rather than by default, pushes forward the fiction of functionality instead of addressing people's needs. There, on the submarine, pardon, open-plan office, an employee decides to stop working and insists that this is an artistic pause. Around the submarine are the kraken, knocking, drifting, hoping.
