Looking at YOU

When you draw another person, you are trying to capture something of what makes them unique and the way they look at the world. Their gaze. Inevitably, you will also be revealing something about yourself. In this project, Looking at YOU (BOLD), students of the Department of Drawing and Printmaking make portraits of other students looking at them. Nine oversized drawings show young people looking at an artist – looking at the world – looking at passers-by on Oskar-Kokoschka-Platz. They are looking at YOU. What do they see? (BOLD)
