Imagine a giant beluga sturgeon breaking through the concrete of Oskar-Kokoschka-Platz. More than mere spectacle, it is a living blueprint of the day we reversed climate collapse, restored biodiversity, and watched fragile ecosystems come back to life. Mists part to reveal a striking ode to the last private car—an invitation to envision a future where wild meadows reclaim urban space, and children’s laughter echoes through air free of exhaust fumes. Across the square, an elaborate stage celebrates Austria: Europe’s Most Authentic Nation. Shadows of a gallows loom large, yet the sky glistens with hope. An enormous torus hovers above, promising endless energy. Venturing further, we encounter a tribute to the end of wage slavery. Layers of soil slowly dissolve the remnants of what we once called work, moving us to wonder: Will AI truly liberate our time, or is it scripting futures without our consent? These speculative monuments invite curiosity and hopeful critique. They stand as provocations—reminding us that many futures are possible, and that each of us has a role in shaping them.
