Poles

An intricate, hybrid display by Studio Sam Chermayeff houses the Institute of Architecture´s group exhibition at this year´s Festival. Metal poles were transformed by the students into playful, multi-purpose objects, which frame the space and enhance functionality. Contributions by departments of the Institute hang, rest against, and are projected onto these structures, each benefitting from the unique interplay with its display.
