Powernap

Six art students from the departments of painting and sculpture use the seminar room as a field of experimentation. The exhibition is intended as a collective exploration of the intersections between the two disciplines. The central focus is on teamwork: collaborative efforts result in new connections – between surface and form, colour and volume, individual style and shared gestures. Painting responds to sculpture, sculpture responds with space. The seminar room is not only used as an exhibition space, but is actively involved in the artistic processes. Existing structures are questioned, surfaces and functions reinterpreted.
