have you heard about the queers? we know little about them. we know with certainty what they are not, yet what and who they are remains a speculation, a rumour of sorts. queer is a queer is a queer is not a queer. queer is a question about who am i, a gossip to the existential need to inhabit the complexity, a strategy to escape from the identity oppressions. a truth treated as a lie, out of the same cloth utopias are made of. did you know they have bodies? it’s kind of scary when you think about it. can you be casually queer? you tell me. i can straight pass and then i’m casually queer. or occasionally queer. imagine how that would look like.
