What does a democracy movement look like? How does it communicate? And how can a space for exchange be designed? Students of the Department of Communication Design developed a holistic design for a democracy movement aimed at promoting exchange, information and democratic awareness. As an interface between democracy, art and society, lecturers from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, together with other institutions, initiated lectures, conferences and platforms for dialogue. In addition, a permanent space for exchange is being created. The exhibition showcases a variety of design approaches – from naming and logo development through print and online media to spatial concepts.
