The pressure is rising. How do I position myself, and what do I want to show? Both as a class and as individuals, we are trying to make a statement and reveal what emerges under pressure (Druck). A collection of works from the past months that we make visible here, hoping to leave an impression (Eindruck). The group studio becomes an exhibition space—where we usually create and produce, we now present, rearrange, bring the pressure (Druck) onto the walls and into the room. Does the perception of the work change when the place of its creation and its presentation shifts? We—as a class—decide together what and how we show, arrange, and present, bringing not only separate positions but the works - as created here in this class, often side by side—into the foreground, and inviting you to experience the pressure (Druck) firsthand. The exhibition is curated by the students Flora Schmid und Nikolaj Macko.
