What is going on in Al-Quds/Jerusalem?

Architecture Against Erasure: Al-Bustan Neighborhood. Under the Microscope is a research-based architectural project that documents the realities of life in Al-Bustan, Silwan, a Palestinian neighborhood in Jerusalem facing ongoing demolition threats. Through interviews, mapping, visual archives, community narratives, and spatial analysis, the project examines how architecture can serve as a tool of documentation, resistance, and collective memory. By placing the neighborhood “under the microscope,” the project reveals everyday forms of resilience and challenges processes of displacement and urban erasure.
