A Noise Box Chamber Orchestra

Loosely Based on Luigi Russolo's concept of the "Intonarumori", several groups of students will perform a series of improvisations using noise boxes, which were developed in a workshop by Hermanus de Jongh and Alexander Martinz. The sounds of the noise boxes will be combined with instruments and modulated with effect chains, creating metallic soundscapes reminiscent of the “Geniale Dilletanten” of the 80s.
