Farila Neshat's final project aims to create access to Afghan culture. By erecting a symbolic house, she sets an example against the forgetting of important cultural traditions and invites people to exchange ideas. The result is a temporary space that links the living environments and social dynamics between Afghanistan and Austria and is accessible to everyone. Afghan hospitality and cordiality as well as the shared enjoyment of tea are symbolized in the context of an open carpet house. 12:15 p.m. Impulse lecture by Zaker Soltani on the art history of Afghanistan from Alexander the Great to the founding of the modern state in the 18th century 12:45 p.m. Reading of Afghan poems by Ebrahim Amini 13:30 Traditional Afghan music by Masood Sultani (vocals, harmonium) and Bahram Ajezyar (tabla) Exchange and tour
